Hollandaise Sauce Blender Recipe

Serves: 3
  • 3 egg yolks- large
  • 3 teaspoons lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup butter
  1. Place butter in microwave in small bowl - approx 20 seconds
  2. Remove butter and stir until it is all fully melted
  3. Separate yolks from whites (use yolks only for this recipe)
  4. Place egg yolks in tall narrow container
  5. Use stick blender to blend for 15 seconds
  6. Then add lemon juice and salt slowly while blending
  7. Blend approx 1 minute or just until sauce is well blended and reaches desired thickness
  8. Check thickness at 15 second intervals if uncertain.
  9. Serve
Hollandaise cannot be reheated. Serve it immediately or soon after making it for best results.
