Raspberry and Pomegranate Smoothie

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ¾ cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon pomegranate powder (or the seeds of ½ a pomegranate, or 2 tbs freeze dried ones)
  • 1 teaspoon flax seeds
  • 1 heaped tablespoon macadamia nuts (can be exchanged for cashew nuts if necessary)
  • Vanilla protein powder serving (rice/pea protein based with a natural sweetener)
  • 4 ice cubes
  1. Place all ingredients in a high powered blender (in order above)
  2. Blend for 45 seconds or until well blended, smooth and a lovely light pink
